Let us introduce you Forest hotel "Golubino" newly developed location where nature lovers and seekers of traditions will find everything they were dreaming about.

Hotel is located in the Pinega district of the Arkhangelsk region in the immediate vicinity of the Golubinsky karst massif, on the very bank of the river Pinega. The village of Pinega, which is 10 years older than Moscow*, is just 16 km away from “Golubino”. If you choose to come to Golubino with helicopter tour it will give you additional opportunity to fall in love with amazing view over rivers and lakes, green forests and old villages, existing since many centuries back.

The distance from Arkhangelsk and it’s airport is about 188 km. A trip by car from Arkhangelsk will take approximately three and a half hours.

We will be happy to arrange a comfortable transfer from Arkhangelsk to the Hotel per your request.

Excursion program

Thanks to it`s wonderful location, our Hotel provides an exclusive excursion program all year round. The Caves. You will be accompanied by our experienced guides and enjoy fascinating walk in unique karst caves. The cave Golubinskiy Laydown is the most famous and visited throughout the Arkhangelsk region located within 300 m from the hotel.

During winter period you will have a chance to visit 4-5 caves more to admire snow crystals, stalactites and stalagmites. Reindeer herders. Take a stroll along a snow road, become acquainted with a being of reindeer herders, feed deers
and ride sleds. Or visit a great holiday – A Deer Day - which is held on the 8th of March in the Forest hotel "Golubino".

Eco paths and picturesque views.

The Holy Spring Waterfall. The canyon Tarakaniy Log. What a dream to walk through ancient forest, part of natural resort to the waterfall (not covered by ice 12 months a year), listen to the history of Arkhangelsk larch and observe picturesque views of old trees, that you need few people to hug it, and karst walls of the canyons. The Krasnogorskiy Monastery of Holy Virgin. You will visit the ruins of the monastery built in 1604 and observe the most beautiful view over the taiga forest and river Pinega from the highest point of Arkhangelsk region, Krasnaya Gorka (Red Hill). Place where photographers stop for hours, trying to catch the best photo, but every picture becomes unique and the best.

Animation program.

A workshop “Baking cakes and shangi”. 1,5 hours, from 5 persons. Everyone will be able to learn how to bake shangi – a traditional cake from the Russian North. At the same time participants will try their heroic strength and skills in a house keeping on traditional Russian manner. A lot of fun is included! A workshop “Making a folk doll”. 1,5 hours, from 3 persons Making a folk doll following old Russian traditions. A workshop “Ignition a samovar”. You will know how to set on a samovar and make a fragrant tasty Russian tea.

Accommodation.

You`ll find various accommodation options in the Forest Hotel "Golubino":
  • double rooms in the new hotel building (reconstruction of the building was carried out in 2016) (“STD”, “Superior”), 
  • double rooms in the boarding house (“Economy”), 
  • four-bed two-storey cottages with a living room and a bedroom (“Cottage”) .
On the ground floor of the main building you will find:
  • children`s room
  • guest hall (with a fireplace), where you can hold business meetings and master classes (up to 10 people), play board games and watch sports games on TV.

The total capacity of the “Golubino” Forest Hotel is 31 separate rooms able to accomodate up to 85 people. 

  • Check-in time: 5PM
  • Check-out: before 3PM

If you spend your time exploring the Hotel’s territory, you will also find:

the complex of Russian spa baths (it’s like sauna, but better), a children`s room, parking lot, summerhouses for short rest during the day time, equipped campfires, camping grounds, аree equipment (barbecue, skewers, grills) will be provided in case you choose to arrange a picnic.

The free wi-fi zone is located in the Hotel’s restaurant and in the main building.

Food:

There is restaurant (separate building on Hotel’s premises) able to seat up to 80 guests.
If you have any special dietary preferences, just mention that while checking in, and we will try our best to take your needs into account.
